A few weeks ago I asked everyone to Rethink Church. To ask ourselves what if? What if church wasn’t just a building? What if church was a verb? And you, the members of Doylestown United Methodist Church responded through you work on our “Backyard Mission Sunday.” You washed and raked, you pulled weeds. You tore down and built up. Through the simplest of acts you changed the community around you. You prayed with each other. You visited many who needed to be reminded that God loves them. Whether we like it or not, there is no avoiding the fact that we are called to be holy. If God commands holiness, then it is very important for us to find out what it is and obey Him in that respect.
